Barbara Pal is a true veteran in the financial services industry with over 32 years of securities industry experience. Barbara launched her career at National City Bank as Manager of the Income Collections, Corporate Reorganization, Mortgaged Back Securities, Asset Transfer and Safekeeping areas of the Trust Operations Department. After National City, Barbara joined keybank and worked as Investment Operations Manager with the challenging task of merging the Ameritrust and Society Banking platforms into one.
Barbara joined Cedar Brook in 2007 and worked for Partner Brad Schlang for 11 years and more recently has become the Chief Compliance Officer of Cedar Brok Group. She has her Series 7 and Series 24 license as well as her State of Ohio Life, Variable Annuity, Accident and Health Insurance License. Barbara was promoted to Client Service Manager for Brad Schlang’s practice in 2012. In the same year she won the . Norton Rose Achievement Award for exemplary service. In 2014, she won the Assistant of the Year Award for Securities America, competing with over 2000 assistants for this honorary title.
In her spare time, Barbara enjoys volunteering for W IZ/PBS/Ideastream and also volunteering for any charitable events including those of her church. Her hobbies include attending broadway musicals on Playhouse Square and participating in various health wellness programs sponsored by the Cleveland Clinic and University Hospital. An integral part of Barbara’s daily life is one of her life mottos, “if you have faith the size of a mustard seed, nothing shall be impossible unto you”. Barbara lives in North Olmsted, with her beloved cats.
