Michael Primerano brings more than 18 years of experience in the financial services industry to Cedar Brook Group. As a seasoned advisor, he strives to help individuals and families achieve the optimal balance between enhancing returns and managing risk; between wealth preservation and portfolio growth.
Understanding that planning for financial success may seem complicated in today’s world where a broad knowledge of everything from complex investment products to evolving tax laws is necessary, Michael takes a collaborative approach to supporting his clients’ financial needs. He partners closely with a variety of advisory disciplines, sharing knowledge and experience to determine the appropriate financial strategy for individual situations.
Michael and his team also work closely with small to medium-sized businesses, their owners, and their trustees, to evaluate, design, implement, and monitor strategic planning services, group health benefits, and group retirement plans.
Prior to joining Cedar Brook Group, Michael was an advisor with Cleveland Financial Group.
Michael holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Financial Management from The Ohio State University. In 2004, he successfully completed the demanding requirements to become a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional through the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc. Earning and maintaining the right to use the CFP® mark means that Michael has passed a rigorous certification examination and continues to meet the CFP Board of Standard’s specific education, experience and ethics requirements. Michael is an Accredited Investment Fiduciary® designee. The AIF® designation certifies that he has specialized knowledge of fiduciary standards of care and their application to the investment management process. A process that is based on law, regulation, and best practices and increases the likelihood of positive outcomes for investors and reduces liability for fiduciaries and other service providers.He is also licensed to write life, health, property & casualty, variable insurance and variable annuities in several states including the State of Ohio.
Michael and his wife, Leila and their son, Sam reside in Twinsburg. Ardent believers in making a lasting contribution to their community, they are consistent supporters of projects at their church. Michael sits on the finance council of their church with a specialty focus on the Legacy Gift Program.
