Go Red for Women

For the fifth consecutive year, Cedar Brook Financial Partners LLC (www.cedarbrookfinancial.com), one of the region’s largest independent wealth management firms, raises money for the American Heart Association’s Go Red for Women Campaign. The annual Go Red for Women Campaign was founded to raise awareness and funds to help reduce heart disease in women.The Go Red for Women Campaign established National Wear Red Day® on the first Friday in February to involve hospitals, businesses large and small, news broadcasters, schools, and individuals to wear red in support of this countrywide effort. Kristen Moran, CLU, CFP®, Director of Wealth Strategies at Cedar Brook, is involving co-workers by implementing the pay $5 to wear jeans to work program.“February 3 was a great day at the office. Many people were walking around in jeans and feeling proud since they helped support this important women’s health initiative,” said Kristen.“The Go Red for Women Campaign is just one of a handful of charitable programs Cedar Brook supports every year,” commented Azim Nakhooda, Managing Principal and Chief Executive Officer of Cedar Brook. “We appreciate the support of our community and are committed to giving back to wonderful causes like this American Heart Association campaign,” said Nakhooda.
